Brief: For this project we had to choose a subject and to make a poster and / or a web service of it. We chose to work with the data-base of Marmiton.

 

Work: We started by collecting the information of the different receipes on each country available on Marmiton such as Japan, Spain, Mexico, etc. Then we picked up the ingredients, the name of the receipe and the country. We chose to separate the project in two parts: the first one for a shop specialized in the world's food and the second one is a service for individuals after their shoppping.

 

Challenges: The main challenge were to put all of the information on Gephi and to extract pertinent and understanding maps for our project. My co-workers were Mathieu Cheviron, Adeline Frelon, Marine Créguény and Ophélie Gasnier.
